Your message will be sent to ALL Techno-l subscribers and their responses MAY similarly be posted list-wide OR they can chose to answer you directly. The list is unmoderated but certain rules of netiquette do apply.
You may post:
- Positions available
- Notices of conference and seminars that are within the scope of the discussion topics
- Web sites of interest, (your own web site may be included as part of your signature ONLY)
DO NOT post:
- Chain letters
- Obscene messages
- Threatening or harassing messages
- Jokes (in bad taste)
- Personal ads (they will NOT be tolerated and you will be unsubscribed from the list without discussion)
Also do not post "computer/e-mail virus" messages to Techno-L. Forward these messages to the List Manager for validation. The vast majority of these messages are hoaxes and chain letters.
